Beachwood is one of the cities carved out of the Warrensville Township, a part of the Western Reserve territoryin 1915.

The City covers an area of 6 square miles and has a population of over 13,000.  The city is conveniently located near major highways including I-271, I-480, I-90 and the Ohio Turnpike (I-80). 

 Beachwood is abundant with cultural support, enriching activities, upscale retail, a broad range of restaurants, community and religious organizations. There are many opportunities to be involved in the community and City Recreation Department programs.
