Brecksville, Ohio Suggested Reading

Brecksville is located less than 15 miles south of Cleveland.  It maintains a small town, almost one third of the city's 20 square miles occupied by the Brecksville Reservation of the Metroparks and the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area.  The landscape is a carefully planned balance of residential, retail, office and light manufacturing areas. The total population of Brecksville is 13,382.  Residents of Brecksville are uniquely located "At The Center Of It All",   State Routes 21 and 82 bisect Brecksville and easy access to Interstate Highways I-77, I-480 andI-80, which is the Ohio Turnpike. 

Brecksville is a community of the Western Reserve, founded in 1811.  Brecksville was incorporated as a village under the laws of the State of Ohio in 1921 and attained City status in 1960 by virtue of its population exceeding 5,000.
